Gilbert Simondón: aportes para una nueva teoría crítica de la técnica

Resumen

El siguiente trabajo busca establecer relaciones entre el pensamiento de Gilbert
Simondón y los fundamentos de la teoría crítica de la técnica. Para esto, recorremos un breve camino por algunos de los presupuestos que constituyen los cimientos de la teoría crítica de la técnica, entre ellos, Karl Marx. Este camino, nos permitirá contraponer los puntos más importantes de la teoría marxista con los del pensamiento de Simondón, un pensamiento que ha formulado una serie de críticas a la teoría marxista, fundamentales, a nuestro entender, para reconstruir una teoría de la técnica acorde a las exigencias de un mundo con invenciones técnicas cada vez más complejas. Nuestro análisis, abre los interrogantes respecto a cuáles son las teorías de la técnica que se instauran con fuerza en la actualidad, qué alcances tienen y qué consecuencias derivan de sus planteos. Las teorías actuales que piensan la técnica cierran la discusión respecto a ella, y lo hacen en la medida en que reducen su análisis a criterios humanistas y esencialistas. En este punto, la teoría simondoniana aporta criterios interesantes para pensar nuestra actualidad, donde la revolución cibernética y el avance de internet inauguran nuevos paradigmas y las teorías de la técnica necesitan re pensarse a través de criterios no esencialistas, desde una relación recíproca entre el ser humano y la máquina.

Gilbert Simondón: contributions to a new critical theory of technique

Abstract
The following work seeks to establish relationships between Gilbert Simondón's thought and the foundations of critical theory of technique. To do this, we take a brief look at some of the assumptions that constitute the foundations of critical theory of technique, including Karl Marx. This path will allow us to contrast the most important points of Marxist theory with those of Simondón's thought, a thought that has formulated a series of criticisms of Marxist theory, fundamental in our understanding, to reconstruct a theory of technique according to the demands of a world with increasingly complex technical inventions. Our
analysis opens up the questions regarding which are the theories of technique that are established with force today, what are their scope and what consequences derive from their proposals. The current theories that think about technique, close the discussion about it, and do so to the extent that they reduce their analysis to humanist and essentialist criteria. At this point, the simondian theory provides interesting criteria to think about our current situation, where the cybernetic revolution and the advance of the Internet inaugurate new paradigms and the theories of technology need to be rethought through non-essentialist criteria, from a reciprocal relationship between the human being and the machine.
